The Climactic Volume Indicator (CVI) (green) and the Participation Index (PI) provide a measure of short-term internal market conditions. Watch for extreme readings that occur during 'climactic' buying or selling and are often followed by several days of consolidation/pullback.
The Volatility Index (VIX) with Bollinger Bands reveals short-term sentiment. Both the trading bands and the 20-EMA serve as support/resistance, as well as overbought/oversold levels.
