Now that is a spot on assessment. Seducing is the better descriptive word as I believe his motives and actions were known and they weren't of a noble nature in any way.

In many situations I might agree with this statement.... BUT!... his actions involved taking money from people under false pretenses and through deceptive tactics (example : his blogs that never amounted to anything)....therefore I believe all actions have consequences and he should be held accountable for his. I don't want to confuse ill will with deserved consequences. Whatever happens it's he himself who has opened himself to scrutiny.

One could hope but leopards don't change their spots very often and from this last scheme he has just gone public with it appears he isn't interested in trying to take any high roads..... that requires nobility which he hasn't any of.
All just my opinion.
