techno bull: No MS/Intel phone...

I was a little worried about that too. MS really disrupted Intel's plans by essentially hijacking Nokia. Now Nokia was circling the drain and there were no guarantees with Intel. But MS has appeared to hasten their downfall even as MS bought Nokia. And they now have a fundamental problem: no carrier support. Noone but ATT is even commiting to carry the 950 and noone is carrying the 950XL. It is the same problem Intel has. PC MAG did a nice review of their phones. This pretty much sums it up:

"But the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are sexy lepers. They are gorgeous, will be ignored, and won't sell. I love the matte polycarbonate cases, which feel sturdy but soft in the hand. The quad-HD screens are super-sharp, and performance on Windows Phone has always felt smooth—I couldn't tell the difference between the Qualcomm 808 and 810 processors inside them."
