Really, where did you see/hear/read this?

Every other company in the world are trying to grow sales online at the expense of B&M due to margin benefit but if you say MP is the lone contrarian, who am I to disagree when I have seen nothing from MP regarding strategy away from online to B&M. I'm pretty involved with due diligence, but I must have missed it.

As for your buy, who knows? Though my speculative opinion value may be below your current claimed price, the PPS is subject to volatility and perhaps you will lock in a profitable trade. Perhaps not.
