I'm A newbee to this site so I'm not sure what other history holds here, but a news article of Jan 3,2006, by "The Healthcare Sales And Marketing Network" suggested that phase IIb/III clinical trials for MCT-125 could have begun in 2006. What happened? The patent for this drug, I think, is 6096737 (good read). If that's right, there may be only about 2 years remaining before the patent expires. Seems like an FDA approval without further testing should be in order here,(if they ever do that} because what rather lengthy tests so far have revealed is a safe and efficacious product. In my opinion, MCT-125 could be left sitting in the pipeline just because there is no marketing time left.
