"Hi guys. Been a little distracted as we have been working on closing a rather large transaction this last several months and I haven't been able to say much. I'm not at liberty to disclose the location of the station yet here in Vegas, so just bear with me a little longer. When I have significant things to report, I do report them. But I don't post hype.
This project has been in the works for almost 6 years and some $25 million invested. It's had its ups and downs, but we are still here. We have had great supporters, detractors, skeptics and opponents. Through it all, though, we are dedicated to getting this to happen. We have never been closer. We have staffed our call center. The software is being loaded with data for the ticket sales. As we are not yet running, we will be taking deposits and holding them until the train runs. That's in case anything goes wrong, we can refund the monies. We plan to start collecting deposits this month.
Some of you may have read the news article about us that ran a few weeks ago. As we get closer to our deadline to run, I'm sure there will be more. All I can say is that the team is working very hard to bring this about for you. It's a complicated venture but despite the ups and downs, it's clearly the most exciting thing I have ever done. Hardest too!!! Stay with us guys. It will be worth it."
