The problem isn't efficacy as there is plenty of second party confirmation. The problem is in scaling from milligram batches to kilogram batches. Obviously, the physics of self-assembling nanoparticles creates problems dealing with such things as heat transfer and fluid dynamics as the batches increase. These problems also obviously compound with each step up in mass and volume.
