Sector valuation. The U.S. listed Chinese microcap sector is underwater. The saying "a rising tide lifts all boats" is also true in reverse.

Why is it that Chinese large-caps have a fair valuation and microcaps don't? I think it's like the bully on the playground picking on the little kids. Small companies can be preyed upon and large companies can't.

*I want to mention arbitrage, or the difference in pricing between investments. That's the difference in valuation between KGJI, NUIN, and SIAF. Or it can be anything. 10 year treasuries paying 2% vs. a U.S large cap stock paying 3%. Or home prices vs. rent.
