Market cap is a reflection of what the assets are worth along with a given street value for fixed assets. They will issue outstanding shares to reflect the capital spent on the project but it is the reinvestment of capital as depreciated assets that should reflect the share price but being the outstanding share count being so high it distorts the value.

Take the market cap and divide by the share price to obtain the float count. Take that and divide the outstanding and you will get a negative number that is your retained earnings
for the last quarter.
