not directly answering your question but my post #37662 details a GE conference in March where different GE department heads discuss the us of Additive. There is also a link to Christine Furstoss mention of Sigma labs from last summer.

I am also massively of the belief that GE is keeping it all very hush hush. As i mentioned they release very little on any aspect of the production details (not just sigmas section). All we hear is factory opening etc. GE haven't announced what printers they will use, although i am sure it is a mixture. In DDD's Q1 report there was hints of a major order for a Aerospace company designing a new fuel nozzle (or similar wording) i have posted the link here before. But yet again no word from GE. The less i hear across the board its almost the more excited i am. Something big is brewing and GE know it, but don't want it out in the press just yet.

There is sometimes a tendency on this board to want the here and now, but in my mind the strength of sigma is that it will grow into its market dominance. GE will start with 10 machines, then 20, then 40, 100 across departments. GE have been building and testing with Sigma for 2-3 years at least now ready for a major push of AM across its businesses. Some will need PR3D and some will not, but the testing and validation of the product will serve Sigma Labs well for years to come. That is reoccurring revenue. Amen
