Indeed logic would say that if I owned 8% of a ship full of gold and it was stuck on a sand bar that cost me 1% of that gold to bring in 3rd party tug-boats, little banks, the kind your dad tells you to put the kid's money into. The kind in Pennsyltucky, or Idaohio back woods no public transportation girls still have two similar sized boobs and don't have to wear make up type town. The kind where occasionally you see a time machine "bell" land or Vulcan science officer reunited with her long lost love during a mission to Earth. Anything under, near, or around the TARP, will find themselves in a giant pit. The market is going to crash, and it's about to crash hard. A drop to 12,000 will kill the baby-boomers still gambling with other people's money. It's funny, but time seems to have played a joke on the greatest generation. Instead of having children who gave them grandchildren, technology and the ability to transfer information from the oldest generation to the youngest generation has now surpassed the through-put speed of the Human maturation process. Thus, what we have now is grandparents and parents who have 19 year old grandchildren that literally have the entire world at their fingertips, and they are left with a dooey-decimal system and rabbit ears trying to figure out what just zapped their perspective of life in the blink of an eye.

The sheer amount of bullshit that can be skipped by chopping out the "middle", those born between 1939 and 1962, those who are still alive, and those young enough to have a few decades of experience and education under their belts can finally get of this planet and start using the galaxies' resources for fuel than using oil and each other. So, since the "baby boomers" are all full rod hard about being stupid or standing still, it's up to Charley and his Grandpa to save the day with Mr. Wanka's Chocolate & Candy Factory. The reason why we have no financing, for the moment, is the same reason why Charley and his Grandfather sneaked off into the TV room. Everyone is after the everlasting gobstopper of life, everyone, even Mr. Wanka, it's just human nature. However, it's those brief moments in time, when we as humans look up to the stars or down to the Earth or somewhere inside our hearts, or maybe even down to some ooze of gelling protozoa like Captain Jean Luc Picard, and we choose to grow. That is what BFRE is, it's a choice to grow and go instead of stay and burn. If you understand that, then you have to understand that while Exxon may have all the current power of Earth's economic grid, BFRE and we shareholders have all the current power of our Sun's grid, and every star producing life and biomass on every planet out there.
