bull market ended last summer when oil plummeted.
bull market officially ended (chart technicals--as there is lag from commodity bust)

in May 2015

bear market officially began in late August and we haven't even started to normalize interest rates.

"death cross" on S&P 500 daily chart. once October 2014 lows are re-tested and broken, it could get very ugly. Question is, will the fed back off by then or will we actually let markets figure things out the right way??

$SPX

if we break 200 day weekly S&P 500 trend line (1722 as of today) we can fall to 2011 support. YUM.

what fueled this rally since 2011??

more QE, QE, QE, ZIRP, stock buybacks, inflated dividend payouts from cash hoards going back to 2007-2009 and record high profit margins due to less people working (lower wages)

yes, we have quite the dilemma going forwards. if I was a huge hedge fund, I would be 70% short the market.
