The link I gave is a paper I trust. The paper that said Bionitrogen had agreed to look for another location in Taylor County, I don't trust. All I can confirm is that it's what it said. The "powers that be" are crooked here, and the local paper prints what the "powers that be" want them to print. None of this makes sense to me, and there is nowhere to get the answers to my questions. If this was being negotiated for a year, why did the city extend the loan and just a few weeks later make an agreement to sell the land that is listed as collateral for that loan? Is that even legal? Why would Bionitrogen agree to purchase land elsewhere when they already paid for this land? Is that going to be the pay off of the loan? (By the way that land is nowhere near worth $3.5M. Land here only goes for about 10,000 an acre). If that land is the payoff, why isn't that being said, at least locally? Why isn't Bionitrogen saying ANYTHING? Was this a plan between the city and the two companies when that loan extension was signed? I think there's been a lot good people screwed in this deal.
