I am concerned about this kickstarter. Without backing I am unable to comment on the page. And I am not confident in backing so I am coming here to post this. I sent a question to them with some queries on parts of their kickstarter.
A brief summer of which.
-Why they are having a kickstarter when the parent company gets money from selling stocks. Surely the parent company, which is doing very little other then retro games, can fund this.
- Do they have a license from the Kickstart ROM owners for use in their player.
- What is this console they mention in their top tier reward.
- Why they claim to have ties with nascar team yet that team does not show any of their branding on this seasons race cars or uniforms.

Our parent company owns several operating companies with various financial structures for each, and management has chosen KickStarter as a way to fund this particular project.
Yes, we have licences from the original hardware and software manufacturers. Additionally we have worked with the original game publishers, and in some cases developers themselves, to license and/or buy the rights to individual games.
We will be able to send you a picture of the console over the next few days.
RWR does not have any sponsored cars with the Company during the 2015 race season. We have an arrangement that was concluded in 2014 that will allow us to deliver the KickStarter rewards that are listed in our campaign."
I am not willing to throw money at these people based on this response. To be frank I am concerned that even if they get to their goal nothing will come of it and no one will get their rewards.
The main issue for me is the fact they seem to be dodging the Kickstart ROM issue. As a long term Amiga fan I know nothing can be done with the Amiga games unless they have these ROMs.
I am also concerned, looking through this forum for days, that nothing has been mentioned about this "console" in the top tier reward. Surely this in its self would be news worthy. Which makes me think this could be nothing but a cheap Chinese Android TV Stick system or even some very cheap and utterly useless tablet.
