A little info about Cyclone's big partner 3R A/S, who does have a website at http://www.trer.dk/

They did a promo video with children and everything:

The container has a wood burning boiler in it, the name on the unit is REFO.

REFO has a dead website at http://www.refo-energi.dk/ They are also on record as having continuing losses and only one employee. https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=da&u=http://www.nnmarkedsdata.dk/regnskab/refo-energi-a-s/202194816/&prev=search

But it goes on. Putting the REFO wood boiler in 20 or 40 foot shipping containers is done by yet another company in Denmark, Trimajora: http://www.trimajora.com/fileadmin/user_upload/documents/RefoFullFlex_Turn_KeyNov2013.pdf

3R held a press conference on May 29th,
, mostly in Danish, but at 2:39 the fellow switches to English to welcome their American partner "who actually deliver a very important part of our project, so welcome to you Frankie."

At 22:20 the Chinese investor speaks. He was thankful for the nice tour they gave him and thinks the environment is a good thing.

At 26:55 there is an announcement that 3R signed a contract with "Mrs. Frank" the day before and he is very proud that it will allow 3R to deliver the right product to the Chinese investor.

At 34:30 someone asks the Chinese investor how big is his company. It takes him a full minute to answer and the translator reports it as "his company is not that big", but he has a big family who have other businesses and they like the environment too. He and his big family was going to invest RMB 20 million (about US$3 million) with the goal of going public in 5 years.

Somebody asked if he wanted majority ownership and the answer was that was a minor detail and the important thing is long term cooperation.

At about 38:45 someone asks a question in Danish that gets about six minutes of answer from two 3R guys, with the main guy looking pretty worried. From the number of times the words "locate", "Denmark", "export" and "joint venture" were used in the answer the question was probably "where's the factory going to be?" The Chinese investor mentioned southern China a few minutes before. The red-faced fat guy looked even worse when he talked at the end of the press conference than at the beginning. The main guy looked pretty grim until the last 30 seconds when he announce the end of the press conference, then cheered up a lot.

Three weeks later the local paper reported the project crashed and burned: https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=da&u=http://www.fyens.dk/nyborg/Rivegilde-efter-Kina-fiasko/artikel/2741969&prev=search

The chairman of the 3R A / S, Jan Jessen turns out to be the main worried looking guy at the press conference. https://dk.linkedin.com/in/janjessen1 He resigned by the time the article came out on July 1st saying the technology didn't live up to what had been promised.

Frankie was at the press conference and no doubt she would have known the Chinese investor pulled out and the deal fell apart shortly after (and that he and his "big family" were only talking about $3 million maximum investment in 3R).

Yet on August 21st, Frankie puts out a press release claiming Cyclone signed a "binding agreement" to "fulfill $42 million in sales".

And the Cyclone Mark 3 engine that was going to lead to all those millions in sales? Still no drawings, photos or videos of it. Still vaporware.
