NBG,,,Right now we're approx. 4 cents ahead of parity in the ADR to the ASE.
IMO, the closer we are to parity, the more predictive and smoother the pps will trade.
When Athens gets their act together and their mkts trade on a freer, more consistant basis, then we can get a more sustainable move up.
It's unfortunate, however, we are very dependent on the Greek govt. to instill dependability in their political and banking systems, which so far they have been unable to do.
IMO, as long as there is no clear consensus of support as to the direction of their governmental programs(austerity), suport for the above will be hard to come by. That is why this is a longterm investment opportunity. It will take several years to play out and for those willing to stay the coarse, it will be profitable IMO.
Right now my $$ cost avg. program does not show alot of glamour, however, the program is for the loooooong haul.
The investment is NEVER more than I can afford to lose.
