It seems like it would a challenging feat to attract and retain top engineers to a company like Interdigital. The work of these great engineers apparently does not reflect in top fee's to the company. Apparently some (Judges) think the work by these engineers is not so great. Of course, it might be that the IDCC executives don't present the great work effectively. Take your pick.It's not a good story. Yes, I think a buyout in the 70's would be welcome and great for most longs.
It seems the company is buying back to hold up share price. Maybe a good time to sell for those that waited too long, or maybe you wait and hope for a buyout. Tough decision
