If anything you should note that this number is meaningless. Without context, one does not say whether 14 million is a large number of shares. Large is meaningless too - a mountain is large relative to most things on earth. Our sun is small relative to many suns in the observable universe. Our sun is absolutely massive compared to a mountain on earth. Point is, first look at the dilution of most companies in the sector normalized by the float. This metric will actually derive context.
