On the frontpage here we read about the global legislation to phase-out incandescent lamps. The phase out started on Jan 1st 2014. Here's an interesting article that also writes about LED bulbs and that the market is still small but is going to boom. The article itself is from Dec 31st 2013 but still relevant:

If Cyberlux can make a contract with one of the big consumer bulb manufacturers to use Cyberlux's technology for consumer light bulbs they'd be back in business.
