Applied DNA Sciences Achieves ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Accreditation

(NASDAQ: APDN) (Twitter: @APDN), a provider of DNA-based anti-counterfeiting technology, product genotyping and product authentication solutions, announced today that it has achieved ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Accreditation for the Examination and Analysis of CViT(cash/valuables-in-transit) and Asset Protection products, utilizing Fragment Length Polymorphism from ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB).

ISO 17025 is a global standard applicable for testing laboratories that is based on a comprehensive review of a laboratory's quality system, technical competence and performance to ensure it produces accurate, precise, and consistent results.
