Aw shoot, bro, this just gets stupider and stupider. I can't tell who's on first or what's on second. All I know is I'm out here in left field and nothing makes sense anymore, so perhaps you can set me straight.
Doug Vance owns these bio-machines, and he leased one or more to Molen who must not have ever used them because he hasn't produced anything with anything for anyone anywhere.
Now Vance wants his machine back to be used elsewhere, but he can't get it from Molen because Molen (uh . . .) hid it somewhere in the woods? And Molen is sort of holding it for ransom? And the ransom consists of Vance holding an open house? (P.S. --- In the old days they used to call that extortion, but no matter.)
So Vance helps out with the o/h and the machine appears. I assume Vance kept a close eye on the thing throughout the shindig to make sure he could get out o' Dodge with the machine intact that Molen owes money on but will likely never pay.
Is it something like that? No. Couldn't be. There must be gaps in this scenario that I'm missing.
If by chance you can't clear this up for me, I'll have to consult one of the bleacher bums in the stands behind me.
Well, thanx for listenin'.
