Edible Garden Produce Now at Walmart — WSJ.com

An urban farm is now selling its produce in Walmart stores:

“Terra Tech Corp (TRTC) subsidiary Edible Garden, an urban agricultural company, announced two new retail outlets for their line of living produce. The company is now shipping 4? Living Herbs to Walmart throughout the Northeast, as well as hydroponic basil and 4? Living Herbs to Stew Leonard’s, a premier grocer with stores in Connecticut and New York.“

Belvidere, April 27, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Terra Tech Corp (TRTC) subsidiary Edible Garden, an urban agricultural company, is pleased to announce they are expanding their line of naturally grown living produce to multiple Walmart distribution centers. Last year the company was given a trial run through one Walmart distribution center in the Northeast, which serviced approximately 75 stores. Recently Edible Garden was informed Walmart would be adding the Edible Garden line to 4 additional distribution centers located throughout the Northeast as well as the Midwest. Each distribution center services approximately 75 retail stores. The company received the opportunity to service additional markets because they consistently delivered high quality, fresh produce since they began servicing Walmart last June. - See more at:
