yes. they want araid, to weaken theire own drug portfolio and become a less favourable target

they also made that move, that theire own share price fell 3.5% and it's easier to reject hostile takeovers with a lower marketcap.

they also choose ariad because for no reason, they could have choosen every other company.

makes sense.


they don't offerd 2 billion, becuase they think ariad is worth 2 billion. it's cleary just a dummy offer
