It is now time for me to lick my wounds, i.e. turn paper losses into real losses and cash out of capstone. I, unfortunately, have been down this road too many times before. In messages from management, three major "headwinds" were mentioned: Russia, strong dollar, and falling energy prices as I recall.
Capstone has been unable to turn a profit even before these headwinds and I see no way they can do it now. They did some things right but too many things wrong to succeed.
Looks certain a R/S is coming. Once that is announced the price will fall. Then, when the number of shares we own is drastically reduced, the share price will, of course, get a bump to 4 or 5ish. Subsequently, that share price will start to fall for all the same reasons until the bankruptcy is declared. Seen this scenario play out time after time.
Capstone has held out longer than so many green companies that taxpayers had to fund that didn't last a year. Hopester, in spite of his capital letters, seems to be pretty much spot on in my opinion. Capstone has continually been the little engine that can't. Back when orders were flowing an PPS was going up I think most of us longs thought we had turned the corner. Alas, it was just a head fake. capstone just never made it to the big leagues. It had its chances, just didn't have the right stuff.
