To be fair though, Darin Ezra stated on the conference call they were in negotiations with the "celebrity with the largest online following." The company has done its fair share of pushing some expectations.

That being said, I'd agree on a large scale that some people parse each word to turn into a projection of national distribution and billion dollars being bought back, which hurts IMO.
