Whoever believes that patents or IP is not important especially when a giant like Apple is paying for the prosecution of your technology could be mistaken. Samsung is a prime example and look how much Apple is willing to do to protect it. Phew Salas had a tough job being the gatekeeper for CIP, wonder if the stress or temptation was too much for him. Apple Pay, Samsung Pay... I mean how creative of Samsung!! If your going to try and be a ripoff at least be more creative with how you go about it. Hope people have more respect for IP going forward and understand its importance. If lqmt was prosecuting on their own I would say it means nothing but when big bad Apple is guarding IP, that is a different ball game.
