Below the accompanying letter. The trial is ongoing. That is clear. New screenings are suspended that is clear as well. I think it would be good if they issued a PR stating that the suspension has nothing to do with safety and that was voluntarily done by the company whilst the IA is performed. I would not see anything wrong with it , it would be a win/win situation. Worst case there will be a reccomendation to 'continue'. That is normal as well.
By being obscure, management let shorts have their fiesta, and let investors being doubtful and fearful that some important issues that could prevent the continuation of the trial have come up.

Those who would try and misrepresent the status of NW Bio's programs are at it again. False impressions have been widely spread today, in an apparently orchestrated fashion, that our Phase III trial has been stopped. That is not the case.
All of the patients enrolled in the trial are continuing their treatments as prescribed in the trial protocol. And with over 300 patients already recruited for the trial, and a total anticipated enrollment of 348, the trial is far along.
The only change is that new screening of patient candidates is temporarily suspended while we submit certain trial information for regulatory review.
