Bottom line first. Hang on to your shares.
The plant tour and presentation was very impressive. Despite rumors from hedge fund skum, alferon is not being made in a bathtub. The plant is large, spotless and consists of a large array of manufacturing rooms, sterile pass through rooms, research labs etc etc - the water sterilization area alone is quite amazing.
There were about 15 or so investors and about 8 top brass from HEB: equals, strayer, Springate, kiani, plus the plant staff, who each explained a part of the process. The group I toured with included equels and Springate which was lucky, these guys are enthusiastic and animated. The investor group included a doctor, several "suits", eg brokers/investor types. Bob Miller and Nancy McCrory were there - I had a nice chat with them about their ongoing lobbying efforts in DC
I've got a goodie bag, w published scientific material, new power point presentation (I'm sure for investors conf next month), -- have not looked at it. If there is any new info, it will be tidbits-- as nothing can be disclosed to a small group w/I being disclosed to public as a whole.
There is no doubt that the HEB team wants to do a greater good, to make a difference in people's lives. Equels bio really speaks to that. You investors should be proud that you are included with people who want to do something great.
