Any big lot that hits the ask never gets through it always hits a tenth of a cent below the actual ask price. Therefore the ask never gets wacked and the price never jumps up. When the people on the bid see this action the drop off the bid.... For example the ask price at 1.18 had a size of 1300 shares. Someone hits the ask with 5000 shares its comes up at 1.1799 and doesnt move the ask when in reality this size ask hit should have taken the price up a couple of cents. Its a toxic cycle
