I sense that Arnie Klann and his people are in a tough place right now, with the DOE having turned down his first appeal. I understand there are still some discussions with some DOE personnel, but for now it doesn't look too encouraging.
That seems to me to leave them only with the hope of Chinese assistance with the last of the financing, in addition to the $270 million loan still available(I think), from the China EXIM Bank.
The present economic shakings in China does put some question as to whether or not the Chinese need to prove out the BFRE technology, via the Fulton plant, is high enough now to close a 100% financing deal with the Chinese?
