Tar, your facts are not correct. The mine has 500 years of reserves at current production rates. That means with the current rate of extraction at that mine, it would be 500 years before they would stop producing. This mine, however, is NOT supplying 100% of the market for Niobium. There are three other mines in operation.

You just posted about The TIC -Tantalum-Niobium International Study Center. If one mine was supplying the 100% of the needed niobium for the next 500 years, then why would this group exist? The simple answer is, it wouldn't. The uses for niobium are constantly expanding, and therefore, so is the demand. This topic has been covered ad nauseam on this board. There is plenty of room for other niobium plays in the market.
