Janice somewhat rudely dismissed my request for info on them, saying they were very common, but I've only found one case where the SEC said trading was mainly for laundering or for moving funds across borders. There, the movement was US to Canada. Such use of penny stocks gets very little attention but it may explain the odd trading in many of them, including MMRF.
The Bay tries hard to act like "real TV." So it's difficult to learn that it's a TV show that's not really on TV.
