I never said the system or the police were perfect. What you can't do is look at exceptions to the rule and some how think they are the rule. Do you fly in airplanes ? Every so often one crashes and people are killed. If I posted a picture of an airplane crash and told you it was proof that airplanes crash all the time would you believe me ?

Police officers interact with african americans all day and all night for a variety of reasons. Maybe what you can do is count the number of times police officers are placed -- through no fault of their own -- in dangerous and life threatening situations and how count how many times an undesireable out come occurs. Then count how many police officers die in the line of duty (Hint: about 130 time per year).

That will help you understand what is normal and what is the exception to the rule.
