Do companies actually do this? It's much cheaper to simply copy them to a degree, and use the initial company as a sort of guinea pig to see how things actually work out. Then the next company (or companies) come in and duplicate what works, and get rid of what doesn't. There's no need to buy into a concept unless you desire to be first, unless I'm missing something.


They have had several companies try to buy them out due to their concept. It appears to be a great business model. It's just a matter of executing it.
