Yes I have seen that price, but Toyota does not say if the full production cost is covered at that price. For example when the Chevy Volt came out GM took a hit of $15,000 per vehicle after the $10,000 gov subsidy.
Though over all if Toyota can pull off a reasonably priced hydrogen car I'm all for it. Until hydrogen car is main stream and the hydrogen economy is built I think we are looking at combining the hydrogen with a carbon source to create fuels that are pumped into the existing infrastructure. Regardless, even if we can turn all transportation fuels to hydrogen we will still require hydrocarbons to create lubs, waxes, and oils.
