Blinkx90, we cant be discouraged by this type of report. The important thing is that this disease is finally receiving its due publicity and public education. That could only be more promising for MSTX. The people who matter right now are the docs, patients, and families dealing in MSTX current trials. If things continue to go well it will be amply received as good news by the nonprofit agencies that serve this client base. A wise smaller company will progress, keep its nose to the grindstone , knowing cream always rises to the top. It may not be wise to compete openly with a big pharma who is touting a potential full cure , that will take years to formulate.
I think Mstx is addressing the current problems of sickle cell CRISIS blood flow and physically altered vascular and capillary interior surfaces. This addresses all organs of the body, addresses baddd pain, addresses hospital stay time and fed. Costs if hospital entries and stay time can be reduced. These are all considerations that occur when the patient experiences a S. C. Crisis. They come unannounced so many times a year and turn everyones world completely upside down. Besides extreme pain and certain ( high side effect ) drug risks, the patient arrises from this torture with newly damaged organs, removal time from school( or work) removal from typical social development and fears for all , of the next unannounced crisis. MSTX is addressing these realities by moving into all vascular structures threatened and laying down "stuff" that mends damaging surfaces and rather give rushing blood cells a " skate by" surface rather than gummed up and rough places to heap up and literally block normal blood flow. Its not a cure and a cure may not be out for years. (Remember too that this technology is being considered for other urgent blood flow issues outside of the application to sickle cell disease)Watch the videos on web site to be properly introduced to s.c. Victims and family supporters. They will plainly explain their personal plights over years progression of this disease. It may encourage you toward understanding the solidarity of the right kind of present publicity. I want publicity for MSTX too , but the timing can help or hinder a small company at this stage. They are very advanced and we dont need some MM OR BIG PHARMA SPREADING SOME BOGUS NEWS at this point. Read about the good things theyre doing. Call comp. to clear any misunderstandings. And watch those videos. I trust MSTX has a timing, plan, and will do It!!! One persons opinion so patience does its job for positive net results. Thankyou. I think it will be worth the wait, all in all, all IMHO. And I do appreciate your concerns. GLTA
