My guess is that the dumb money saw the top line data, "HALO beats!..." and rushed in. Then, as it became clear there was no real news, and general market pressures increased, profit taking started. (I actually sold 5% of my holdings in mid 24s.) This snowballed as the dumb money, much of it brand new, followed the chart down.

Someone on Twitter speculated the delay in NSCLC enrollment triggered this. I truly doubt that had any bearing on today's action. Often, poor enrollment in a trial reflects poorly on the prospects of the study drug. In this case, it is clear the changing landscape into microenvironment immune modulators are the cause of the slow enrollment. This has nothing to do with PEG. Moreover, as we know well, it is likely PEG will also enhance those regimens one day.
