Where is the money coming from? $100,000? It's probably hard earned money that came from long hours of honest labor over many years. My IRS tax returns over the past several years reveal how the money I work for is earned. I termed it "several years" ... at 65 years old it takes a good long while to squirrel away that kind of many and to have it lying around for a frivolous lawsuit doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Seems a waste of money but folks spend it out of need, pleasure, and desperation. I don't recall having been "desperate" about anything lately though so not sure how that applies to money. Bad news from the doctor? Stranded on a desert island? Dirty dealings?
