If there wasn't a copy of the court papers I would almost be able to see your point.

They said in the blog it was resolved 24hrs after the papers were served but this clearly states this is a default for failing to answer the complaint within 30 days.

Maybe it was easier and cheaper for them to take the default judgment rather than resolve it privately ?

Maybe doing it this was was better for the shareholders ?
