My opinion, music really grew between 65 and 75. Much more depth to the music. Still, 65 was exploding with new talent. On your list, The Beatles, Stones, The Who,The Moodie Blues, the Hollies were all just getting going. The Yardbirds spun off Clapton, Page and Beck, They Byrds brought us David Crosby(not my fav) and Graham Parsons, And "Soul Music" was still growing. My guess, but more musicians switched bands in the 60'S than ever before and did well.
