Can someone help me understand how 188,000 buy volume vs 91,000 sell ends the day even? -lee640m



The tally is computer generated. If a transaction is closer to the Ask it lists as a buy, if it's closer to the Bid it's listed as a sell.

I buy at, or closer to the bid all the time and see my buys listed as sells. Converse true about selling near or at the Ask and seeing my sell listed as a buy. (Well, not all the time as I don't always check. But enough times to confirm this is accurate)

Depends on momentum. Sometimes you can't buy at the Ask on a rising stock.
