I am wondering why NNVC is talking about doing large animal studies as the next step, rather than going directly to human trials. I am familiar with a number of other companies that are going directly from mouse studies to human trials, so I asked someone who is an expert in clinical trials if this was a necessary step. The answer was a resounding NO. Why is NNVC saying that they can't go directly to human trials? Were the mouse studies flawed in some way and not acceptable to the FDA?
