For Mike asking about STP Tools & Clorox, the story is simple. CHDT/CHDO/CAPC entered an agreement with Clorox to use its name and create a line of tool products. Promotion included a six inch sticker on a NASCAR Nationwide Series car that was easily readable on a vehicle traveling up to 200 mph. After much fanfare and some placement in stores such as True Value, Meijer's, etc., the company sold practically nothing and still had to pay Clorox for usage of the name. You can imagine how that turned out.

That doesn't even scratch the surface with Lok-it, Secret Diary, Memory Foam products, battery generators, booklights, etc. This company, unfortunately, has been the place where great ideas fizzle amid a burst of constant voices guaranteeing hand over fist growth.

This association with AC Kinetics actually seemed like it had potential. They seemed to be doing everything right in getting a patent and selling it to the public as a truly "revolutionary" product. Fact of the matter is that it should never have taken two or more years to get on the shelf. Or even released to the public.

If competitors were kicked out of their booth a few months ago, it was probably because they were chuckling. The tech world is a very fast game. Something that is hip and new today is old, replicated and sold in Dollar General tomorrow.
