This is not true and as a long time poster you know this.

The one thing Mike did that was respectful is he only sold a fraction of his shares when it was in dollar land.

ATTBF was doomed by over aggressive promises and Tweets. Perhaps innocently they felt that by answering the first concerns from HC they were all set. In their defense, nobody knew how irrational the process would become, the crazy safe requirement change, etc.
