JL, I completely agree with your description of the Adcom and even agree that it would make little sense for Adam F to opine in the way he did if he had inside information about the fix.

But it still remains that anyone thinking about an Advisory Committee hearing for V based on the Anchor study wouldn't have a thought about bringing up proof of CVD risk as - like you mentioned - the study was not designed to speak to that in any sense whatsoever.

So I don't think anyone in on the "plan" would have divulged it to Adam F, but if he somehow obtained the idea that it might happen in such a way the only possible explanation for him using that info to spout about his opinion of the coming Adcom that I can think of is the ego and self-importance that some of these guys like Adam possess. They want to show that they are smarter than everyone else.

Again I would not bet on that reasoning or scenario but would really love to find out how he would have come up with such a lucky guess. Because believe me no one and their mother would have guessed (based on logic) that the direction of the meeting would have been twisted in such a way.
