I'm just not sure why you are trying to make an argument about something I never said in the original post. What I added was that(to clarify): IR person or no IR person, what will ultimately drive the stock is the type of news and how its delivered. I've seen various cases, good and bad, in and out of the pharma world, with and without an IR rep.
Let me(once again) state what I originally said in a more simplified form:
If a big company like Shire decides to mention a small company like Intellect Sciences in positive PR, that is a good thing for Intellect Neurosciences.
Don't read into that as me saying Shire will go out of its way to mention and praise Intellect, that Intellect should be a one man show, that Intellect doesn't need an IR person, or anything else you wish to derive from a basic opinion.
