You say nothing ever happens?

Mid-2012- Viper buys up to 49% of Apollo. Sri Lanka talks begin.
Early 2013- construction of manufacturing facility in Naples, FL expected to finish
2014- Pilot in Naples begins. Participation in world trade shows
2015- Naples pilots complete and orders received. News of activity in Qatar, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia surfaces.

Many details left out but this looks like systematic progress to me. When you consider these guys started from scratch (no product, no connections/help from larger company) it seems like Viper and Apollo are doing a great job.
