That is Doctor George Melnik... He has authored more patents than Hakki. Hakkie is a consultant and will be hired if needed, just like others that may be hired for various tasks. That won't happen until they get federal funding.

Dr. Melnik , our Senior Technical Advisor, has been working very closely with Dr. Refai to advance the CSpace technology.
Dr. Melnik has had an extensive career in display technology research and development. He has been awarded 17 patents and authored numerous publications. For the last seven years Dr. Melnik has been a technology consultant specializing in display product development and also serving as an expert witness in patent law cases involving display technologies. Previously, Dr. Melnik worked with several startup companies on improving their display technologies and products. Prior to becoming a consultant, Dr. Melnik worked for 15 years at Philips where he drove the development of several novel technologies, including the liquid-crystal-on-silicon technology that was the basis for Philips’ groundbreaking rear projection HDTV. While at Philips, Dr. Melnik held positions in research, product development, and manufacturing. His last position held at Phillips was as the Director of Strategic Projects. Dr. Melnik was also instrumental in the early development of active matrix liquid crystal displays while at General Electric. Dr. Melnik received his Ph.D. in 1987 from the Liquid Crystal Institute of Kent State University. He is a senior member of the Society for Information Display and is presently the chairman of their mid-Atlantic chapter.
