The European Central Bank (ECB) has given approval to the Greek stock exchange after a month to open the doors again and resume trading.
This confirms a spokeswoman for the fair in Athens Tuesday, after notification by news agency Reuters .

Trading will resume after a ministerial decision of the Greek Ministry of Finance. Possibly the fair will open again on Wednesday, according to the source of Reuters. It is expected that the market will not be completely released at once.

There still apply restrictions as the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) opens again, only local investors would be allowed to act.

There are since the close of trading on June 29, strict capital controls introduced. Similarly, the banks continued in Greece three weeks closed after the ECB not initially wanted to increase emergency funding.

The banks have since July 20 again open , but there is still a withdrawal limit of 420 euros per week for each account.

Now there is an agreement in principal on a third rescue package of up to 86 billion euros, the financial sector has regained a little more air.
