MRIB did not calculate the tax before the shipment. then there must have been a problem with who would pay the taxes.
the guy I talked to knew nothing and cared nothing about MRIB. he just said Brazil is tough to deal with. the taxes were probably 100% of what the product cost. sure Margrit should have known this.
the guy also said if the taxes are not paid the product will sit at the dock with fines adding up on top of taxes.
why everyone is jumping on this I do not know. MRIB was wrong for not knowing the amount and who was to pay taxes.
the good thing is MRIB is going to get around this and ship product to Brazil.

oh ! the southeast will be opened up soon very soon ! also people are being hired in the east and northeast !!!
